On February 14, the staff of the Museum of Local Lore conducted a thematic tour dedicated to the Day of the Withdrawal of Troops from Afghanistan on the theme “History of War and Memory“ for 8th grade students of the Sapar Ergaliev Secondary School, paying special attention to the exposition dedicated to the internationalist soldiers.
During the tour, the children got acquainted with materials dedicated to the event of that time, photographs, documents, personal belongings of Afghans, telling about service and military operations in Afghanistan.The tour was organized to instill in students a sense of patriotism and pride in their fellow countrymen, as well as to foster a tolerant attitude towards each other.
