On December 12 of this year, on the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the staff of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore held a historical hour “Independence Day – the path to freedom and unity” for students of the S. Ergaliev Secondary School.
During the event, the main stages of the struggle of the people of Kazakhstan for freedom, the contribution of national heroes and figures, and the historical significance of the December 1986 event were highlighted.Information was also provided on the adoption of symbols in the formation of independent Kazakhstan, the introduction of the national currency, the adoption of the Constitution and the strategic directions of the country’s development.
