“Afghanistan – without the right to be forgotten” – evening – in memory of the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan

To mark the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, museum staff held a memorial evening: “Afghanistan – without the right to be forgotten.” On this day, students of grades 6-8 of the Krasnoselskaya secondary school gathered to honor the memory of their fallen compatriots, remember the Afghan war, which maimed so many bodies and souls, orphaned many children, mothers of unborn sons, and also to say words of gratitude to those who fulfilled their soldier’s duty. schools and schools named after B. Mailin. Those gathered honored the memory of the fallen internationalist soldiers with a minute of silence. During the event, the children got acquainted with the history of the Afghan war, biographies of fellow countrymen who died during military operations in Afghanistan. We also watched a presentation about the events of the Afghan War from the collected materials of the museum and a video of an Afghan officer V.I. Ionenko. The evening of remembrance ended with the reading of poems.
