On September 14 of this year, the museum staff held a museum lesson for the 6th grade of the S.Ergaliev OSH dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of K. Donenbayeva “Atakty Enbek Yeri – Kamshat Donenbayeva”. The purpose of the museum lesson: to acquaint readers with the life of the first Kazakh female tractor driver, to promote the profession of a rural mechanic, to instill love for their native land, to respect the hard work of rural workers. Virgin soil has given many a start in life, including the tractor driver of the Kharkiv state farm in Kostanay region Kamshat Baygazinovna Donenbayeva.
She was one of the first women in the Borovsky (now Mendykarinsky) district to become a machine operator, mastered the new powerful tractor K-700, and later received the nominal K-701. I got behind the wheel of a wheeled tractor at the age of 19, and got out of the cabin of the mighty Kirovets 33 years later, without losing my enthusiastic attitude to work. Thousands of girls and women responded to Kamshat Donenbayeva’s initiative to master the mechanistic professions of a tractor driver, combine harvester, driver, not to be afraid of technology and work on an equal footing with men. Everyone who communicated with Kamshat noted her sincerity, conscientiousness and accuracy in the performance of work. Not the pursuit of a hectare, not the pursuit of a ruble, but the desire to do well characterizes her as a caring person, who is sick with his soul for production. The memory of Kamshat Donenbayeva will be preserved not only by the labor history of our state. Her memory will live forever as an example of service to her homeland, love for her people and devotion to her land.
