On October 19, within the walls of the museum a thematic hour was held in honor of the publicist “Herold Belger – take care of audarmashy, zhazusy, publicist.” Students of the 7th and 8th grades of the school named after S. Ergaliev were introduced to his life and the legacy that he left behind. Gerold Karlovich Belger is a Kazakh translator, publicist and literary critic. Editor and compiler of 19 books, co-author of 103 collective collections. Ethnic German, but lived in Kazakhstan since childhood. Herold Belger’s colleagues respectfully called him Gera-aga, because he is the only famous Kazakh German who was fluent not only in German, Russian, but also in Kazakh. And he worked on each of them. Gerold Karlovich passed away on February 7, 2015. Knowing such interesting, great personalities and learning from them is very important for young people. After all, the topic of trilingualism is relevant at the present time. Modern children must know many languages.
