Educational hour “Kazakh folk ornament as an ethnographic source”

Making ornaments is an ancient art that has developed over many centuries. The plot content and name of the ornaments changed and improved depending on the time and life of the Kazakh people. Currently, the art of creating ornaments has become the spiritual and material heritage of the Kazakh people. Since ancient times, ornaments have been the spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people, not only on holidays, but also in everyday life. The beauty of pattern and ornament pleases our eyes. And things without a pattern or ornament remain invisible. On March 15, employees of the museum for students of the secondary school named after. S. Ergaliev and the boarding school students spent an educational hour “Kazakh folk ornament as an ethnographic source”, during which the children consolidated their knowledge of the history, traditions, life and art of the Kazakhs. In addition, the children became acquainted with the basic elements of the ornament, and then consolidated the acquired knowledge in decorating the mazayka on paper.
