Thematic excursion “Life and traditions of the Kazakh people” in honor of the holiday “Korisu kuni”  

Starting this year, at the proposal of the head of state, the celebration of Nauryz will be held in a new format – it will be celebrated from March 14-23, and this period is called “Nauryznama”. The decade of “Nauryznam” begins with the celebration of “Korisu kuni”. Translated from the Kazakh language, “korisu” means “to meet” or “meeting”. On this day, it is customary to visit each other and congratulate each other on the arrival of spring. The main requirement of Amal (korisu) is respect for elders, care for younger ones, support for the weak, help for the poor. On this day, younger people greet their elders, shake hands and hug each other. Elders bless the young. On this day, previous grievances are forgiven, enmity is forgotten. This is Welcome Day – a holiday of brotherhood, modesty, charity. For the first time, Senate deputy Sarsenbay Yensegenov proposed giving the holiday an official status in 2019. In connection with this, on this day, for employees of the Russian State University, the fire extinguishing and emergency rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, fire department – 16 p. Әyet district of Beimbeta Mailina organized a thematic excursion “Life and traditions of the Kazakh people”, where guests got acquainted with the ancient past of the region, famous personalities and traditions of the Kazakh people, and were also able to treat themselves to national sweets.
