On September 30 of the current year, the B. Mailin Local History Museum hosted a lecture titled “History of the Formation of Beimbet Mailin District,” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the district’s formation and its historical journey.
During the event, participants learned about the history of the district’s establishment, its ancient roots, the development of agriculture and industry, the events of the Great Patriotic War, the development of the virgin lands, and the period of the formation of independent Kazakhstan. Special attention was paid to prominent fellow countrymen — Hero of the Soviet Union Seitkhan Temirbayev and full Cavalier of the Order of Glory Vasily Pipchuk, as well as the district’s labor achievements and its development across different historical periods.
A separate part of the lecture was dedicated to the modern development of the Beimbet Mailin District, the implementation of investment projects, and the growth of agriculture, industry, infrastructure, education, culture, and sports.
The lecture provided an opportunity to recall important pages in the history of the native land and to see how, through the hard work of several generations, the modern Beimbet Mailin District was shaped and continues to develop in the current period.
