On September 24 of this year, the B. Mailin Museum of History and Local Lore hosted a local history game titled “My District – My Pride,” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the formation of the Beimbet Mailin District.
As part of the event, participants learned about the history of the district’s establishment, changes to its name, historical landmarks, and prominent local figures. The students answered questions, worked with historical photographs, and completed creative assignments.
The local history game enabled the participants to expand their knowledge of their native land’s history, discover interesting facts about their homeland, and feel a sense of pride in its history and people.
Knowing the history of your native land means respecting the past and caring for the future!
