The B. Mailin Historical and Regional History Museum presents an exhibition of paintings titled “Transfiguration by Light,” featuring works by Andrey Ariskin, a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Andrey Ariskin was born on April 17, 1963, and currently lives and works in the city of Rudny. In 1989, he graduated from the N. S. Samokish Crimea Art College with a degree in Graphic Design and Decoration. For over 30 years, his professional activity has been dedicated to creating artistic and design works distinguished by their originality and expressiveness. Andrey Ariskin is a regular participant in art exhibitions at various levels.
The exhibition displays 12 works created in acrylic technique using fluorescent paints. The unique feature of these artworks lies in their ability to reveal new dimensions as the lighting changes, creating a mesmerizing effect of depth and movement.
The combination of sharp lines, smooth color transitions, and a fluorescent layer allows viewers to spot extra details that only emerge under ultraviolet light. Thanks to this technique, each piece acquires a distinct voice and invites the audience to perceive it from a whole new perspective.
The “Transfiguration by Light” exhibition will run until August 28, 2026.
