On July 30 of this year, the B. Mailin Historical and Regional History Museum organized a photodocumentary exhibition titled “State Symbols — Symbol of the Nation.”
State symbols are the sacred emblems of any independent nation, reflecting its sovereignty, unity, and national identity. The State Flag, the State Emblem, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan embody the history, culture, and spiritual values of the people. On June 4, 1992, the State Flag and the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan were approved, and on January 6, 2006, the modern National Anthem was adopted. Every year on June 4, the country celebrates the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition features photodocumentary materials that introduce visitors to the history of the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, their significance in strengthening the nation’s independence, and their role in fostering patriotism and respect for history and national values.
