On July 30 of the current year, the B. Mailin Historical and Local History Museum hosted a lecture titled “Kostanay Land: Pages of Long History,” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Kostanay Region.
During the lecture, participants learned about the establishment of Kostanay Region, the key stages of its development, the contribution of the region’s residents during the Great Patriotic War, the reclamation of virgin lands, and the modern achievements of the region. The guests were also introduced to the lives and activities of prominent figures of the Kostanay land, including Ybyrai Altynsarin, Beimbet Mailin, and many other notable personalities of the district. The meeting concluded with a discussion where participants shared their knowledge and answered questions about the history of their native land.
The event helped expand knowledge about the history of Kostanay Region, fostered a respectful attitude toward historical heritage, and instilled a sense of pride in the homeland.
