On June 11 of this year, a lecture “Beimbet Mailin District: yesterday, today, tomorrow”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Beimbet Mailin district, was held at the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore for students of the summer recreation area of the S. Ergaliev school.
During the lecture, the students got acquainted with the history of the district’s education, the main stages of its development, learned about the first collective farms, the opening of educational and medical institutions, as well as the construction of the railway. Special attention was paid to the exploits of the residents of the district during the Great Patriotic War. The children were told about the heroic path of the countrymen of Seitkhan Temirbaev and the full knight of the Order of Glory Pipchuk Vasily Ivanovich.
The students also learned about the modern achievements of the Beimbet Mailin district, the development of agriculture, the introduction of modern technologies and the prospects for further development of the district.
At the end of the lecture, a quiz was held, during which the children were able to test their knowledge of the history of their native land by answering questions related to the most important events and prominent personalities of the region.
