On October 23 of the current year, on the eve of the celebration of the Republic Day of Kazakhstan, the B. Mailin Museum of History and Local Lore organized the exhibition “Republic of Kazakhstan – My Homeland” at a solemn event within the walls of the E. Umurzakov District House of Culture, highlighting the historical path and development of independent Kazakhstan.

The exhibition introduces the most important stages of statehood formation — from the adoption of the Declaration to the modern achievements of Kazakhstan, revealing its cultural and spiritual heritage, while featuring the sights of the capital.

As a complement to the exhibition, paintings by Svetlana Karatayeva, a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, titled “Spiral of Time: The Path of Kazakhstan’s Development” were presented. These artworks reflect the stages of the history of the Great Steppe: ancient caravan routes, images of nomads and courageous warriors, the harmony of human and nature, and the modern development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition demonstrated an artistic reflection on the historical past and introduced visitors to the achievements of independent Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of national traditions, historical memory, and the continuity of generations.
