On February 10 of this year, a photo and documentary exhibition entitled “Pages of the past and present”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the district of Beimbet Mailin, was organized in the walls of the regional House of Culture named after E. Umurzakov.
The purpose of the exhibition is to acquaint visitors and guests of the district with the historical past and the current state of the district. It is dedicated to the stages of the formation of the region and the people, fellow countrymen who left their mark in the history of the region. The exhibition also shows materials from the first heads of the district, directors of state farms, Heroes of Socialist Labor, workers who distinguished themselves in various fields of activity and famous personalities who contributed to the development of the district of Beimbet Mailin. The exhibition about the past and the present will be held at the B.Mailin Museum of Local Lore throughout the year. Anyone who wants to get acquainted with the history of the area is invited to visit the museum.
