Оn November 5 of this year, the staff of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore organized the exhibition “Tenge – a symbol of Independence”, dedicated to the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition, prepared from the museum’s stock collections, presents copies and originals of the currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, issued in different years, and coins, as well as modern models of banknotes.
During the exhibition, you can learn a lot of new and interesting information about the history of the introduction of the country’s monetary units into national circulation and see how it has changed over the years.
