On September 19 of this year, the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore hosted a special excursion “Immersion in history with tactile sensations”, prepared for people with disabilities.
Visitors were able to get acquainted with the exhibits not only visually, but also tactilely – to touch the antiques, feel their texture and shape. In each exposition, participants were offered exciting tasks that helped them better understand and experience the history of their native land.
This format makes the cultural environment accessible to everyone and allows everyone to literally touch the past with their own hands.
