On June 10 of this year, a dialogue platform on the theme “Sacred places of our Homeland: preservation and popularization of sacred places of Kazakhstan“ was organized for cultural workers at the Museum of Local Lore. The event was attended by employees of cultural institutions and members of the public.
During the work of the site, issues of preserving the historical and cultural heritage, popularizing the sacred sites of Kazakhstan among young people, as well as attracting the attention of the general public to significant spiritual sites were discussed. Special attention was paid to the role of sacred sites in the education of patriotism, the formation of spiritual and moral values and national identity.
The participants noted the importance of systematic work on the study and promotion of objects included in the Map of sacred Places in Kazakhstan.
As a result of the discussion, recommendations were developed to strengthen cooperation between museums and educational institutions in order to generate sustained interest in the spiritual shrines of our Homeland.
