On February 27, the museum hosted an entertainment and educational program on the topic: “Maslenitsa has come, I brought pancakes“ for students of the 3rd “B“ class of the B. Mailin secondary school. At the beginning of the event, the museum staff held a conversation about spring, after which they introduced the children to the traditions of celebrating Shrovetide and the days of Shrovetide week. The children actively participated in the discussion, solved riddles and answered questions. The program continued with fun folk games: the children were happy to play “Frying Pan“, “Cockfight“, “Streamlet“ and other fun. The celebration ended with a traditional treat – hot tea with fragrant pancakes, which everyone enjoyed. The event was held in a warm and joyful atmosphere, leaving the children with vivid impressions and a good mood.
