Gorban – Honored Teacher. Nikolai Fedorovich Gorban was born on January 1, 1940 in the village of Kyzyl–Zhar, Taranovsky district. After completing his education, he enrolled in the Kostanay Pedagogical Institute, and later in the Sverdlovsk Institute, specializing in mathematics teacher. He started his career in 1959 as a mathematics teacher at the Kirov seven-year school. From 1964 to 1966, he worked as a teacher, then as the director of the Priozernaya Secondary School. In 1980, he worked as the head of the organizational department of the Taranovsky district executive committee, later chairman of the party commission of the Taranovsky district party committee. Since 1996, he has been the head of the organizational department of the administration of the Head of the Taranovsky district. He joined the district education department in 2000.
Over the years, he was elected a deputy of the Taranovsky district, and was a member of the labor control inspectorate. He has received awards: “Kazakhstan Republikasynn tauelsizdigine 10 zhyl“, “Kazakhstan Republikasynn tauelsizdigine 20 zhyl“. For his active participation in the life of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, he was awarded the ATA medal and badge of the Participants and Invalids of the Great Patriotic War.
