Master class “In the world of animals” in the technique of thread applique within the framework of the Kainar local history club

On September 18 of this year, the Museum of Local History was visited by students of the B. Mailin secondary school. As part of the Kainar local history club, the museum staff organized a master class for them on the theme “In the world of animals”, using the technique of “thread application”. The event began with the exhibition “Flora and Fauna”, which presents the vegetation, animals and birds of our region. During the acquaintance, the exposition had a dialogue with the students, where the children actively answered the questions posed, guessed riddles, played educational games called “Finish sentences”, “Guess the animal”, “If I come to the forest”, shared their knowledge and at the same time learned something new. At the end of the meeting, the children independently made an application with the animal they liked using woolen threads, and also held an ecological minute with an appeal to love and protect our nature. The meeting organized for the children turned out to be very interesting and informative, the children were satisfied and left in a good mood.
