To the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of Socialist Labor Petrenko A.A. Museum staff conducted an educational hour for 8th grade students of the Krasnoselskaya secondary school on the topic: “People of Labor Feat.” Petrenko Artyom Anisimovich was born in 1899 in the village of Belyaevka, the center of Belyaevskaya volost, Odessa district, Kherson province. Before the collectivization of agriculture, he worked as a hired laborer. Participated in the Civil War on the side of the Red Army. In 1929 he joined the Molotov Agricultural Artel, from 1931 he worked as deputy chairman, and in 1937 he was elected chairman of the board of the artel. Under the leadership of A.A. The Petrenko agricultural artel grew into a diversified and highly profitable enterprise, which during the Great Patriotic War strictly fulfilled the plan for the supply of agricultural products, for which the chairman was awarded the Order of Lenin in 1942 and the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree. After the war, as a result of socialist competition, the collective farm became the best in the region, it was one of the first in the region to begin receiving millions in income, and by 1953 it was a leader both in livestock breeding and collected the best grain harvests in the Kustanai region. In 1954-1955, the collective farm “named after Molotov” developed 13,455 hectares of virgin land, and the following year, from the entire sown area, it collected 20.8 centners per hectare. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated January 11, 1957, for particularly outstanding successes achieved in the development of virgin and fallow lands, and obtaining a high harvest, Artyom Anisimovich Petrenko was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle gold medal. In the same 1957, the collective farm “Dawn of Communism” participated in the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition (VSKhV). A.A. Petrenko was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR and the Taranovsky District Council of Workers’ Deputies, a member of the Kustanai regional party committee and a delegate to the VI Congress of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan. In 1959, he retired, but continued to actively participate in the life of the party organization of the Novoilinsky state farm, created on the basis of the Dawn of Communism collective farm. He was awarded 2 Orders of Lenin (11.5.1942, 11.01.1957) and the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree (16.11.1945), medals, as well as large and small gold medals of the All-Russian Agricultural Exhibition (1957).
