The B. Mailin Historical and Local Lore Museum presents an online exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the village of Pavlovka entitled “A short excursion into the history of the village.” In the video, a former resident of the village will share her memories. Pavlovka Kalakpasova Zulkiya. As everyone knows, water in the steppe was of great importance. The villages were nomadic and camps, naturally, were organized near rivers and lakes, next to which there were pastures. Once upon a time this region abounded in lakes. Some of them have survived to this day, and many have left, leaving numerous estuaries in their memory. The largest lake, where nomads once settled, was called Maisholak. The aul also began to be called. And during the Stolypin reform, when settlers appeared here, the expanded settlement was called Pavlovka. This name of the village comes from the fact that at the first gathering of villagers, most of the men from the gathered families of immigrants bore the name Pavel. The village arose on the route of the caravan road from the Turgai steppes to Chelyabinsk. In 1903, the first dugouts were laid, around which the village of Pavlovka was later built.
