Dermen is a hand mill for grinding grain, consisting of 2 flat stones. At the point of contact of the stones, grooves are knocked out.
In the lower flat stone there is a hole for filling grain. In the upper stone, a hole is hollowed out for a handle made in the form of a thin, rounded wooden pole.
The dermen was installed on a diirmen teri (leather litter), where the flour fell. Currently, the item is out of use.
