Communist Fedosiya Fedotovna Gostishcheva devoted nearly forty years of her life to working with young people. Throughout all this time, she worked in her native Taranovsky District. More than four thousand Taranovsky schoolchildren were educated by her.

She taught geography and history at the Novoilyinovskaya, Pavlovskaya, Tobolskaya, Taranovskaya, and Naberezhnaya schools. During the Great Patriotic War, following instructions from the district party committee and the district Komsomol committee, Fedosiya Fedotovna temporarily left teaching and served as assistant head of the political department for Komsomol affairs at the Pavlovskaya Machine and Tractor Station (MTS), second secretary of the district Komsomol committee, and head of the party cabinet of the district party committee.

For the last fifteen years of her career, Fedosiya Fedotovna worked continuously at Naberezhnaya Secondary School.

For her many years of creative pedagogical work, she was awarded the Jubilee Lenin Medal, the badge “Excellence in Public Education of the Kazakh SSR,” and the “Veteran of Labour” medal.

Fedosiya Fedotovna’s sons, Valery and Aleksandr, as well as her daughter Lyudmila, following their mother’s remarkable example, remained devoted to rural life. All three worked at the same Naberezhny State Farm.
