On September 23 of this year, the B. Mailin Historical and Regional History Museum hosted a workshop titled “With Love to You!”, dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons.
During the event, the children discussed the significance of the holiday and the importance of showing respect and care for the older generation. They also brainstormed thoughtful gestures and good deeds to bring joy to their grandparents and other elderly loved ones.
The hands-on segment was dedicated to crafting handmade greeting cards. Participants first colored the template pieces using colored pencils and markers, then carefully cut them out and assembled the cards by gluing the elements together according to the sample.
The finished crafts served as warm, heartfelt gifts created with love for the older generation. The workshop took place in a warm, creative atmosphere, giving participants the joy of working together and an opportunity to express their care through a handmade gift.
