On September 17 of this year, the B. Mailin Museum of History and Local Lore hosted a legal culture hour titled “Human in the World of Law,” organized as part of promoting the principles of “Law and Order.” The event featured Evgeniya Bronislavovna Venglovskaya, Advisor to the District Akim on Internal Control and Public Services Provision.
During the meeting, Evgeniya Bronislavovna spoke to the participants about the importance of complying with legislation, improving the legal literacy of citizens, preventing corruption offenses, and implementing anti-corruption measures. Special attention was paid to the prevention of corruption violations. Participants were briefed on actions that may indicate corruption, the necessity of adhering to legally established requirements, and the appropriate authorities to contact when such situations arise. Questions regarding the protection of citizens’ rights, obtaining public services, and the procedure for handling appeals were also reviewed.
The event took place in an open dialogue format, allowing participants to ask questions and receive practical recommendations on protecting their legal rights, interacting with government bodies, and accessing public services. The legal culture hour served as a valuable platform for enhancing public legal literacy, preventing corruption, and fostering a responsible attitude toward adhering to the law.
