On August 20 of this year, the B. Mailin Historical and Regional History Museum hosted an interactive quiz titled “The Heritage of Alash,” dedicated to the history of the Alash movement and its prominent figures.
During the event, participants familiarized themselves with the history of the Alash movement, its core ideas, and the activities of representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia. Special attention was given to Alikhan Bokeikhanov, Akhmet Baitursynuly, Mirzhakup Dulatov, Khalel Gabbasov, Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev, and other leaders who advocated for national unity, the development of education and culture, the preservation of the integrity of the Kazakh land, and the formation of national statehood. In the interactive segment, participants answered questions about the history of the Alash party, the Qazaq newspaper, the First All-Kazakh Congress, as well as the importance of education, language, and national unity.
The event allowed participants to broaden their knowledge of Kazakhstan’s history and the significance of the Alash movement, while learning more about individuals who dedicated their lives to the future of the people and the preservation of national values.
