As part of the program of the regional event “Madeni muraga kamkorlyk – ult bolashagyna kamkorlyk” on June 10 this year, in the lobby of the regional House of Culture named after E. Umurzakov, the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore presented a thematic exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Beimbet Mailin district called “Memory through the years”.
With the help of archival documents and historically significant photographs, which reflect important events of the region: the labor achievements of the heads of enterprises, labor collectives of the district, veterans of labor. During the tour, the guests and those present got acquainted with the history and stages of development of the district of Beimbet Mailin. Visitors were particularly interested in unique objects from the museum’s collection related to the life and work of famous personalities — B. Mailin, E. Umurzakov, S. Temirbaev and many others.
The exhibition is aimed at preserving historical memory, popularizing cultural heritage and fostering respect for the past of the native land.
