On June 3 of this year, the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore hosted a quiz game called “State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan” for students of the summer recreation area of the S. Ergaliev School.

The event was aimed at expanding children’s knowledge of the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, forming a sense of patriotism, respect for the history and state values of the country.

During the event, the children got acquainted with the history of the creation of the National Flag, Coat of Arms and Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, learned about their authors and the meaning of each symbol. The children took an active part in the thematic conversation, answered quiz questions, recalled proverbs and sayings about the Motherland, and also demonstrated their knowledge of state symbols and the history of independent Kazakhstan.

At the end of the event, the students came to the conclusion that respect for state symbols is a sacred duty of every citizen and an important part of loving their Homeland.
