On May 20 of this year, the staff of the B. Mailin Local History Museum held an educational game called “Time Machine: A Journey into the Past” for the students of the May Nursery School.
During the event, the children learned about ancient household items and the things that people used many years ago. The children took part in the exciting game “Time Machine: Find Your Ancestor,” where they searched for ancient counterparts of modern objects such as a ruble, a chest, an inkwell, a basket, a samovar, and other museum exhibits.
The interactive photo zone “Heroic Photo Frame” was particularly interesting to the children. They tried on a helmet, chose a stuffed animal as their partner, and enjoyed taking photos as young defenders and guardians of history.
The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, providing the children with vivid emotions, new knowledge, and a deeper understanding of their local history.
