On September 27 of this year, the museum staff organized a museum lesson on the theme “War Hero” for 8th grade students of the Beimbet Mailin secondary school dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the full cavalier of the Orders of Glory Pipchuk V.I. The purpose of this event is to familiarize students with the life and merits of the War Hero, as well as to instill patriotic education and respect. Pipchuk V.I. was born in 1924 in the village of Asenkritovka, Taranovsky district, Kostanay region. In August 1942, as a cadet at the Tyumen Infantry School, he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. After a short study in the reserve regiment, the young soldier is sent to the Western Front and enlisted in a separate reconnaissance company of the 53rd Infantry Division. The hard days of the front began. Pipchuk Vasily Ivanovich was awarded 3 Orders of Glory: III and II degrees. He was awarded the Order of Glory of the first degree by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on March 24, 1945. At the end of the event, a discussion of significant events from Pipchuk’s biography and his achievements took place. The guys thanked for the interesting story, noted that they would like to know more about such famous people.
