“History of the national currency tenge” – quiz game

On November 14, on the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the national currency, the tenge, employees of the Beimbet Mailin Museum of History and Local Lore organized a quiz game “History of the national currency tenge” for 9th grade students of the Krasnoselsk secondary school. During the meeting, schoolchildren got acquainted with the history of the introduction of the national currency tenge into nationwide circulation, and then took part in a quiz game, answering questions about banknotes, solving logic puzzles, riddles, remembering proverbs and sayings associated with this state symbol. The purpose of this event: to familiarize yourself with the history of its origin, determine the role and significance of the tenge in the country’s economy and in the life of every person; education of patriotism, citizenship, pride in the economic independence of the country.
