On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the formation of the regional state archive, a photo-documentary exhibition entitled “Pages of the History of the Archive” was organized within the walls of the local history museum named after B. Mailin.
The exhibition presents photographic materials telling about the history of the formation of the archive, about people who have made a great contribution to the archive, who preserve and increase the invaluable heritage of the people for future descendants.
The roots of the Kazakhstan archive date back to the time of the Bukeev Khanate in the second half of the 19th century. The archives of the Kostanay region originate from the provincial archive of the Bureau of 1923. In 2023, they celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the National Archival Fund and Archives”, the 100th anniversary of the archival service of the Kostanay region. The regional state archive is much younger; this year it turns 35 years old. The history of the state archive of the Beimbet Maylin district begins from the day of its formation on the basis of the decision of the executive committee of the Taranovskiy district council of July 04, 1988 “On the creation of a self-supporting archive for personnel under the district executive committee” No. 138, to ensure the state safety, accounting and use of documents located on the territory of the district in order to satisfy requests, protect the rights and interests of citizens. In the future, the branch of the KSU “State Archive of the Kostanay Region” State Archive of the Beimbet Mailin District underwent several renamings.
To date, the district archive has its own building with a total area of 299 sq. m., which includes three archives, offices: for archive workers, for receiving visitors, for scientific and methodological processing. The development of archives is now impossible without the introduction of computer technology. Modern office equipment, without which you can not do at work – these are computers, laptops, copying equipment, a scanner.
Now the staff of the archive is 9 people. Of these, 1 head, 3 – archivist, 5 – technical staff. At the moment, the leader is Lyudmila Anatolyevna Krupaderova, she is the same age as the archive. Young specialists of the institution believe that the work in the archive is very interesting and versatile. The employees of the district archive preserve and increase the invaluable heritage of the people for future descendants. Behind all this work is everyday, painstaking work – the work of archive workers.
