On June 1 of this year, the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore organized a photo-documentary exhibition entitled “In the Rhythm of Dance” about the achievements of the Diamonds dance group, dedicated to Children’s Day.

The photo-documentary exhibition introduces visitors to the highlights of the band’s creative life: concert performances, competition wins, rehearsal days and stage images of the ensemble members. The photographs and certificates presented reflect the formation of the team, its achievements and contribution to the development of children’s choreographic art.

The history of the DIAMONDS choreographic collective began in 2013. The founder, director and choreographer of the ensemble is Evgeniya Orlova, a talented teacher who has managed to unite children with a love of dance, creativity and performing arts. Today, the team employs more than 60 children aged 5 to 14 years. The work is carried out in three age groups: junior, middle and senior. Each member of the ensemble not only learns choreographic skills, but also learns discipline, stage culture, mutual support and striving for high results.

The DIAMONDS team actively represents the district at competitions and festivals of various levels. Over the years of its creative activity, the ensemble has become a laureate and winner of the Grand Prix of the international competitions “Talents of Kazakhstan”, “Pro Dancing KZ”, “DANCE MANIA”, “ZHAS SHABYT”, “Art is the heritage of cultures” and many others. The young dancers performed well at national and international championships in Kostanay, Almaty, Astana, Tashkent and Turkey.

In 2024, the team was awarded the honorary title of “Exemplary Ensemble” in high recognition of professional excellence.

For their significant contribution to the development of culture and art, the Diamonds dance group and its leader Evgenia Orlova have been repeatedly awarded certificates of honor, letters of appreciation and monetary certificates.

The DIAMONDS team continues to actively develop, revealing the creative potential of every child and inspiring a new generation of young artists to love the art of dance.
