On May 28 of this year, the staff of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore held a lecture entitled “Keepers of Time”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the founding of the museum.
During the event, the guests got acquainted with the history of the museum, learned about the people who stood at its origins, the first employees and managers, as well as about the great work done by the museum staff over 35 years. Special attention was paid to the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the district, the activities of the museum for the patriotic and spiritual and moral education of the younger generation.
The participants were told about the history of the museum’s foundation, the formation of the first exhibitions and the collection of the museum fund. The significant role of the museum in preserving the memory of fellow countrymen, war veterans, people of labor and important events in the history of the district of Beimbet Mailin was also noted.
For 35 years, the B. Mailin Museum has become an important cultural center of the district, uniting generations and preserving the connection of times. The event ended with words of gratitude to all those who have been supporting and developing the museum business for many years.
