On May 20 this year, the staff of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore held a themed evening for students of the S. Ergaliev school called “Alikhan Bokeikhanov – ulttyk Tauelsizdiktin zharshysy”, dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of A. Bukeikhanov. birthday party the outstanding statesman and public figure Alikhan Bukeikhanov.
During the event, students learned about the life and work of the leader of the national democratic movement, one of the founders of the Alash Party, and the Chairman of the Alash Orda government. Special attention was paid to his struggle for the freedom and independence of the Kazakh people, as well as the development of education, science, culture, and national statehood.
The students were told about Alikhan Bukeikhanov’s childhood and education, his social, political, scientific, and journalistic activities, and the significance of his ideas for modern independent Kazakhstan.
The event helped students develop a sense of respect for their country’s history, national values, and the legacy of prominent Kazakh intellectuals.
