On May 6 of this year, a patriotic quiz game called “Defenders of the Motherland”, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day, was organized at the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore for 7th grade students of the B. Mailin School.
During the event, students got acquainted with the history of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, learned about the significance of the May 7 holiday and the role of the army in ensuring the security of the state. Special attention was paid to the topic of military duty, courage and dedication of the defenders of the Fatherland.
The participants of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Saken Turysbekovich Kasymbekov and Bakhchan Tulegenovich Akhmetov, became honorary guests of the event. They shared with the students their memories of serving in “hot spots”, talked about the difficulties of military service, the importance of discipline, mutual assistance and responsibility.
The event was held in the format of an exciting quiz and a competitive program. The students tested their knowledge of military ranks, branches of the armed forces and military equipment, showed ingenuity, dexterity and team spirit in various competitions.: “Soldier’s military uniform”, “Riddles”, “Nurse”, “Military ID photo”.
The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, contributing to the formation of students’ sense of pride in their country and respect for the defenders of the Fatherland.
