On February 2 of this year, the staff of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore organized a lecture on “The History of education in the Beimbet Mailin district” for 8th grade students of the B. Mailin school. The event was aimed at expanding the knowledge of schoolchildren about their native land and forming a respectful attitude towards its historical past.
During the lecture, the students learned about the formation of the district on December 29, 1935, its incorporation into the Kostanay region and its renaming to the district of Beimbet Mailin in 2019. The students were also told about the formation of the first villages and villages, settlers, archaeological finds and the life of people in this area since ancient times.
Special attention was paid to the events of the Great Patriotic War, the contribution of the residents of the district to the Victory, as well as the post-war development and development of virgin lands. The lecture was informative and helped to strengthen the students’ interest in the history of their small homeland.
