On November 14 of this year, the staff of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore organized a portrait evening called “Beyimbet Mailin – olkemizdin maktanyshy” “Forever in our hearts and memory” for the birthday of the writer B. J. Mailin.
The purpose of the event is to introduce students to the life and work of B. Mailin as one of the classics of Kazakh literature, to instill patriotic and moral values, as well as to arouse interest in reading the author’s works.
The portrait evening took place at the museum’s “Legacy Left to Descendants” exposition, where students of the 10th grades of the S. Ergaliev and B. Mailin secondary schools got acquainted with the writer’s life and literary legacy. During the meeting, the students read B. Mailin’s poems, expressing their respect and interest in the author’s work.
At the end of the event, a dialogue and discussion of the writer’s works, published at different times, took place in order to instill a love of reading and a deeper understanding of B. Mailin’s literary heritage.
