On June 5, the grand opening of the monthly action dedicated to the national Day of Dombra took place in the central square of the village of Ayet.
In honor of the action, the museum staff organized an exhibition “Dombra heritage of the people“ in the yurt. Several types of dombra were presented at the exhibition from the museum‘s stock collections, each of which has its own special history. Many dombras from the museum‘s collection have been collected since the museum opened, among them there is a dombra from 1900.
In addition to the subject exhibition, a photo exhibition was organized, which showed photographs of artists of the House of Culture and students of secondary schools performing musical compositions on dombra.
