On May 5, the opening of the thematic exhibition “Strokes to the portrait: Heroes of the front roads“ took place. The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of the people who fought during the Great Patriotic War. Its author is G.G. Yarovoy, a former editor of the regional newspaper “Mayak“, who loved to make sketches, which became this exhibition. Yarovoy donated his collection of drawings to the funds of our museum, which we have been preserving for more than 30 years. The presented works by Yarovoy tell about the residents, participants in the war of our district, as well as portraits of women who were in the rear.
The Yarovoy exhibition is a tribute to the memory of the residents of our district, whose destinies were connected with the Great Patriotic War. Preserved by the museum for more than 30 years, these portraits bring to life stories of resilience,
