“Abai Murasi – asyl kazyna” educational hour.

On January 31, the staff of the Museum of Local Lore held an educational hour called “Abai Murasi – asyl Kazyna“ for students of the Sapar Yeraliev secondary school. This year, August 10 marks the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh poet, philosopher and educator Abai Kunanbayev. The purpose of the event was to introduce schoolchildren to the life and work of Abai, who is the founder of Kazakh written literature. During the meeting, his wise words were read, and at the end, a quiz was held where students demonstrated their knowledge of the poet‘s biography and works.
