Alibi Dzhangildin was born in 1884 in the village of Koidaul, Turgai region, into a poor Sharua family. Comes from the Kypshak tribe. When Alibi was 10 years old, a teacher passing by, who was at that time a teacher at the Turgai vocational school, noticed the boy’s ability to remember and learn and invited him to come to his school. Soon after this, Alibi ran away from home and arrived in Turgai with a passing caravan. He met the students and teachers of the school, among whom was an exiled labor teacher, with whom he developed a friendship that was much greater than between student and teacher. It was here that he first encountered immeasurable luxury and poverty; it was in Turgai that his first meeting with Amangeldy Imanov took place. Soon, on the instructions of wealthy relatives, his father took him out of school. But over the course of several months spent at home, Alibi realized all the injustice and deception reigning in the steppe. He fled from home and went to Kustanai, where he easily, thanks to his extraordinary memory and knowledge acquired in Turgai, entered a Russian-Kazakh school. But even here his father found him and only at the request of the head of the school, a highly respected gentleman, agreed to leave him at school. Within a year, having mastered all the material and successfully passed the exams, Alibi Dzhangildin went to Orenburg in the direction of school, where he entered the ecclesiastical consistory. Here he met with influential fellow countrymen in the steppe, but he understood that their goals, perhaps noble, could not modify all the long-standing customs and foundations of the steppe. Having mastered and passed the exams much faster than the program, fortunately the whole essence of the training was memorizing spiritual quotes, he left for Kazan.
