«Alash: a trace in the history of the people» – a photo-documentary exhibition about the leaders of the Alash party

On April 19, at the Krasnoselsk secondary school, a photo-documentary exhibition about the leaders of the Alash party was organized for teachers and students on the topic: “Alash: a trace in the history of the people.” The exhibition presents unique archival documents: photocopies of materials from trials and verdicts against prominent figures of the Kazakh intelligentsia who were subjected to repression. The history of the Alash movement is one of the brightest and most exciting pages of our past. Such close attention of modern artists to the events and characters of the national history of the beginning of the last century is completely justified. The movement of the Alash party teaches the younger generation patriotism and respect for representatives of the Kazakh scientific and creative intelligentsia of the 20th century, endless gratitude for their contribution to the structure of an independent state – Kazakhstan.
