Tabak – is a flat big plate for serving meat. It is made of a single piece of wood and has a hundred-year history. The edges are flat, the recess is smooth, without patterns on the outside and inside, smoothly cut.
To make this item, dried oak or birch is boiled in water, then tabaks of different sizes is cut out. The big one is for respected people.
It is decorated only with patterns carved on the tree itself, because it needs to be washed often, or there is no decoration on it at all.
