On November 6 of the current year, the B. Mailin Museum of History and Local Lore organized a business game titled “Tenge – Symbol of Independence” for the students of the B. Mailin School, dedicated to the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the event, students learned about the history of the tenge’s emergence, the features of the first banknotes and coins, as well as its significance as a symbol of the country’s independence. In the interactive part, the children were divided into teams, answered quiz questions, solved riddles, completed logic puzzles, and performed tasks testing their knowledge of financial concepts. Special attention was paid to a practical task on allocating a monthly budget and determining priority expenses.
