On the eve of the Republic Day of Kazakhstan, on October 23 of the current year, the B. Mailin Museum of History and Local Lore hosted a patriotic hour titled “My Kazakhstan – My Pride” for the children of the pre-school group of the “Aigolek” nursery-kindergarten.
During the event, the children learned about the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, recalled the names of the capital, their district, and their native village, and performed the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the interactive section, the kids took part in the games “The Sun and the Eagle” and “Let’s Assemble a Yurt”, discovering the significance of the shanyrak as a symbol of a shared home, unity, and harmony. The event concluded with a creative activity called the “Tree of Wishes”, where every child left a warm wish for their country.
The patriotic hour was held in an educational and friendly atmosphere, helping to foster in children a sense of pride in Kazakhstan, respect for national traditions, and an understanding of the value of peace, friendship, and unity.
