On April 30 of this year, the B. Mailin Museum organized a thematic exhibition called “Arturlik – birliktin negisi”, dedicated to the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition presents objects of traditional life and decorative and applied arts: painted tea dishes, a samovar as a symbol of hospitality, wooden and ceramic utensils, as well as elements of national crafts. Particular attention is drawn to products with ornamental paintings reflecting the artistic traditions of various peoples.
Each exhibit is a part of everyday life and culture, conveys the peculiarities of national customs, tea drinking traditions and household lifestyle. The presented objects are united by the idea of respect for historical heritage and cultural diversity.
The exhibition highlights that it is the diversity of cultures, traditions and customs that is the solid foundation of the unity of the people of Kazakhstan, and the preservation of this heritage is an important task of modern society.
