On January 28 of this year, in the Central District Library, in cooperation with the Territorial Election Commission of the B.Mailin district, the B.Mailin Museum of Local Lore presented an exhibition entitled “The History of the formation and modern Practice of Elections”, dedicated to World Election Day.
The exhibition introduced visitors to materials reflecting the history and current state of the electoral system. The exhibition presents information materials of election campaigns, historical information about the activities of precinct election commissions, samples of ballots, photographs of candidates for deputies, as well as unique photographic materials from polling stations of different years.
All the presented materials clearly demonstrate the course of the electoral processes and show the main stages of the formation and development of the country’s electoral system.
The exhibition is aimed at improving the legal culture and forming an informed attitude towards civic responsibility and participation in elections.
